Questions people ask

What is Kabtenna?

Kabtenna is an Egyptian sports platform with two apps: one for gym owners to run members, renewals and payments from their phone, and one for trainees to find a captain or a place and train with a programme. It covers gym, football, swimming, padel and running.

Is Kabtenna out yet?

Not yet. It is in development and launching soon; no date has been announced. Leave your WhatsApp number on the waitlist and we will tell you the day it opens.

How does a gym remind members to renew?

The app gathers every member who is due and prepares a reminder for each one, sent on WhatsApp in one tap. When a member renews, the receipt reaches them on WhatsApp.

How do payments work?

Gym owners record each renewal as cash, InstaPay or wallet. Trainees pay for a captain’s package by card, InstaPay or wallet.

When do I see a captain’s phone number?

Only after you subscribe. Before that you see their verified profile, ratings and packages; after it, the WhatsApp button appears.

Which sports are included?

Gym, football, swimming, padel and running, from day one.

Is there QR check-in?

Coming soon: members will scan a code at the gym door. It is not in the first version.
